What You’ll Need:
1- You’ll need a valid (not expired) picture identification either State or Federal is required for all purchases.

2- Proof of WA State residency is required for all handgun purchases. Proof includes a copy of your orders if you are in the military, or if a civilian with out of state I.D. a copy of a lease or utility bill in WA State which is at least 3 months old which bears your name and matches your photo identification.

The easiest form of residency proof is a valid WA State issued I.D. Card or WA State drivers license.

Note:
At present there is a 5 business day wait for disposition (delivery) of your purchase unless you have a valid WA State Concealed Pistol License and pass an instant background check. Instant background checks are answered with 1 of 3 possible answers- PROCEED (You leave the store with your purchase as soon as it is paid in full) DELAYED (You must wait until the background check is completed by the National Instant Background Check System, typically 1 to 7 days) and DENIED (Your purchase will not be allowed). Pistol licenses from other states are not used for purchases in WA State.

Other Information:
Handgun purchases can be made by Washington (WA) State residents or military personnel assigned to WA State.

Police Commission Cards are treated as Concealed Pistol Licenses.

Long Gun Information
Long gun purchases can be made by out of state residents as well as WA State residents.

In WA State, long gun purchasers are not required to have special licenses or state residency for the Instant Background Check.

Again, we are bound by the response of the system, Proceed, Delayed or Denied.

Use of the Range

You may bring your own ammo so long as you use your own firearms. If you rent our firearms, you must purchase our ammo. Your safety and the safety of other shooters is our greatest priority at Champion Arms. Using our ammo in our rental guns eliminates the possibility of a catastrophic failure of a firearm when otherwise, shooters bring their own hand-loaded ammo that is loaded beyond standard pressure limits for a given caliber.

*You must be of legal age to shoot on the range, and are required to abide by our rules and to sign a liability waiver. Anyone not of legal age must be accompanied by his or her legal guardian who is required to supervise the minor at all times while the minor is on the range, and to sign a liability waiver with the minor and on the minor’s behalf.

*In order to rent or use a Champion Arms handgun you must be 21 years or older and purchase our ammo.

*In order to rent or use a Champion Arms rifle you must be 18 years or older and purchase our ammo.

*Alcoholic beverages and/or illegal drugs are prohibited on Champion Arms property and are not to be used prior to arrival at the range. We have the right to refuse service to anyone. Anyone who has the smell of alcohol or drugs on their breath or clothes, or who appears to be impaired, will be asked to leave Champion Arms property.

Firearms must remain in your holster or range bag/box at all times from the moment you leave your vehicle to the moment you approach the shooting bench to fire.

One of the many benefits of a Champion Arms membership is the opportunity to become qualified for rapid fire, double taps, and holster draws. Non-member shooters may not rapid fire, double tap, or draw from a holster.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, ATTEMPT TO REMOVE, DRAW, OR OTHERWISE DISLAY YOUR FIREARM AT ANY POINT AFTER YOU ENTER OUR BUILDING UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO SHOOT YOUR FIREARM FROM THE BENCH IN THE LIVE FIRE AREA OF THE RANGE. IF YOU NEED TO TALK WITH US ABOUT YOUR FIREARM IN THE RETAIL AREA OR AT THE RANGE COUNTER, YOU MUST LET US KNOW THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO REMOVE IT FROM YOUR HOLSTER OR RANGE BAG/BOX.

 Special Orders
We are happy to special order a firearm for you provided that it is a current production item and available. Be aware that if you are looking for an unusually difficult to find firearm, a delay in receiving it may occur. Special orders are taken on a first come, first served basis. If you are number three in line for a specific firearm, the folks ahead of you will receive theirs first. Special orders are initiated with a minimum of half the total purchase amount down as a deposit. The balance is due upon transfer of the firearm. Layaways are applicable with a special order if you would like to extend the payment of the balance over a 90 day period.

Examples of difficult or non-existent firearms to order…

Anything Kel-Tec aside from the P3AT: this includes the KSG, PMR30, RFB, SUB-2000, PLR16, etc…
Certain Dan Wesson 1911 pistols
Most every Springfield Armory 1911
Smith & Wesson Bodyguards
Taurus Raging Judge
Certain AK-47/AK74 variants
Certain variants of a particular firearm that make one unique from another in the same model line

Layaways
Layaways can be arranged at no additional cost. Simply take the price marked on the tag and add the tax  then divide by four. As an example…

$599.99 X 1.095 / 4 = $164.24 a month for four months. The first payment puts your name on the item; you would have three payments remaining over a 90 day period. If you have paid for the firearm in full and are waiting for approval from the FBI on your paperwork, you may come-in and shoot that firearm at any time.

Restocking
*In general, if your item has been on layaway for more than 30 days and you would like to cancel the layaway, we will charge you 20% of the total amount.

*If you are denied the purchase of a firearm from the FBI or other agency, you will be charged a 20% restocking fee.
